Outline of the Institute

Institute for Nano Quantum Information Electronics(NanoQuine) is a cross-disciplinary organization established by the University of Tokyo in October 2006 for the purpose of creating innovations and fostering human resources based on nanoscience and information science. In addition to promoting interdisciplinary fusion, the Quantum Innovation Co-Creation Center, an organization within the Organization, has six collaborating organizations: Sharp, NEC, Hitachi, Fujitsu Laboratories, QD Laser, and PETRA. The Center has also been implementing cross-sectional educational programs through industry-academia collaboration for many years in order to develop human resources with a bird's eye view of this field.
