Professor Masahiro Nomura, together with Project Associate Professor Huang Xin, received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award for Science and Technology in the field of science and technology for the 2026 academic year. The award recognized their research on innovative thermal devices utilizing the unique transport properties of phonons, and the ceremony was held on Wednesday, April 15, at the MEXT Auditorium.
