On Tuesday, July 2, 2012, NanoQuine held a successful “Collaborative Creation Symposium” at the Convention Hall of the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo in Komaba, Tokyo, under the theme of “Discussing the Future of Quantum Computing Technology. The symposium featured leading researchers in superconducting quantum computers, quantum computer algorithms, and optical quantum computers, as well as representatives from industry in the field of quantum-inspired computers. We had an enthusiastic discussion on the technical prospects and business strategies of quantum computers. At the end of the session, all seven speakers took the stage again for a panel discussion on hot topics such as the future of quantum computer research and what is the main goal.
