NanoQuine held the 2nd Photonics Innovation (PI) Vision Workshop on Thursday, July 21 at ENEOS Hall, Komaba Research Campus, The University of Tokyo. Under the theme of “Next Generation Computing and Optical Technologies”, we invited experts in the field of advanced computing, such as IoT trends, massively parallel computers, edge computers, and image recognition, to give lectures and hold panel discussions. It was a meaningful discussion from both sides of the debate about what the advanced computer field needs from optical technology.
