It was introduced in the Journal of the Japan Society of Applied Physics(JSAP) on 10 February that Professor Susumu Noda (Kyoto University) will be awarded the 15th JS AP Outstanding Achievement Award (Research Achievement). The award was given for his “pioneering research on photonic crystal” and was presented at the 62nd JSAP Spring Meeting held on 11 March at Shonan Campus, Tokai University.
