An international research team led by Prof. Takao Someya and Associate Prof. Tomoyuki Yokota have developed a photovoltaic-powered optical pulse wave sensor that can be attached to the skin. The sensor can be used to monitor pulse waves non-invasively over a long period of time. Their paper was published in Nature Communications on 14 April.
